12th-15th. Increasing rain and thunderstorm activity spreads east.
16th-19th. Very cold, Canadian air pushes south.
20th-23rd. Fair, much milder.
24th-27th. Possible showers, thunderstorms.
28th-30th. Severe thunderstorms; cold air sweeps in bringing near-freezing temperatures.
May 2014
1st-3rd. Southern Rockies are dry, hot.
4th-7th. Line of storms capable of breeding a few tornadoes.
8th-11th. Residual showers diminish and end.
12th-15th. Clouds increase; turning warmer.
16th-19th. Scattered showers/thunderstorms, muggy. Possible severe storms for Arkansas, Louisiana, watch for brief downpours, damaging winds, hail, tornadoes.
20th-23rd. Rain.
24th-27th. Frequent showers then turning colder.
28th-31st. A few locally strong thunderstorms Oklahoma, Texas.
